TT Serve Spring Serve Day

Over 175 team members came together for the Spring Serve Day on Thursday, April 27, helping to continue to transform the Next Step campus and surrounding neighborhood in Terre Haute, IN.
The sounds of hammers, chain saws, paint rollers, forklifts, and skid steers rang through the neighborhood as team members worked to install new windows and doors, paint, landscape, build a gazebo, clear and create a paver patio, and so much more! 32 different projects were completed throughout the day.
When asking team members one word that comes to mind when they hear Next Step, the responses were "Love", "Hope", "Rewarding", "Amazing", "Restart", "Opportunity", and "Blessing."

“The nice thing about Next Step is that it meets people where they are. I can see in the neighborhood here that the work that we are doing, and the work Next Step is doing, is lifting the entire neighborhood. As we are working, other neighbors have come out and have started cleaning up their yards. Thank you to all our team members who came out to serve and to our project leaders who worked over the last several months to prepare, plan and execute successful projects so that Next Step can continue to support individuals on their path to recovery.
