So “What does Live the Core mean?” The core of Thompson Thrift encompasses our Mission, Core Values, and Core Competencies. These three aspects make up the culture of Thompson Thrift—why we do what we do, our guiding principles, and the behaviors we are all striving to achieve.

At Thompson Thrift, our Mission Statement isn’t something that we simply put on the wall. We live it every day by making a positive impact and serving our communities in our work and personal life. As a company, we are successful due to our individual and collective efforts and by Living the Core!

The growth that we’ve seen over the past decade at Thompson Thrift has been incredible and really speaks to our core principles and values, and makes everyone excited to show up to work every day knowing there aren’t really many projects out there that are too big or too difficult for us to do.

Here at Thompson Thrift, instilling trust is as simple as having confidence in one another. When trust is present, team members can admit weaknesses and mistakes, ask for help, accept feedback, take risks, and give one another the benefit of the doubt. These are the essential ingredients for growth, progress, and innovation. As a company, we aim to embody this competency in every aspect of our business, internally and externally.

We believe that effective communication is essential in all aspects of life. We are fortunate to offer opportunities to our team members to serve others. Our TT Serve program enables team members to choose ways to give back—through company-wide community service days, to individual and group programs. We encourage participation, big or small. Service is one of the cornerstones of our culture.
