About the development
Phase I of the project, Southbridge Marketplace, is located on the eastern 12 acres and houses a 130,000-square-foot Home Improvement store that successfully opened in August 2025.
Phase II of Southbridge Marketplace will include 54,000 square feet of retail space anchored by ALDI, located at the northeast corner of John Wayne Parkway and Honeycutt Avenue. Construction is scheduled to start in late 2025. The site, which sees nearly 70,000 vehicles daily, is already nearly 70% leased. Confirmed tenants include ALDI, Club Pilates, Einstein Bros. Bagels, European Wax Center, Panera Bread, She Nail Lounge, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
