Closing Peoria2nd Phase

Peoria, AZ

Thompson Thrift Retail Group (TTRG) is pleased to announce it will be commencing construction on Phase II of its Sunrise Promenade development located just south of the southeast corner of Lake Pleasant and Happy Valley Road in Peoria, AZ.

When fully built out, the 18.75-acre mixed use development will comprise over 70,000 square feet of retail space and 140 luxury one and two-story cottage style homes for lease. Phase I of the commercial portion of the development commenced construction in 2019 and is anchored by an ALDI grocery store. Phase II of the project will include a new 9,360 square foot multi-tenant building. The building will include users such as Yoga, Six, Twin Tails pet boutique, Boss Lady hair salon and Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids. Two additional users are at lease for the balance of the available square footage in this building. Upon completion of Phase II, TTRG will have one additional PAD site available which can accommodate up to an additional 15,000 square feet of leasable area.

“Out entire team is excited to kick off Phase II of this development.” said Chris Hake, Senior Vice President and Director of the Southwest Region for Thompson Thrift. “We recently entered into commitments to lease our last 2,800 square feet in Phase I, so the timing of Phase II is ideal. We look forward delivering Phase II in early summer of 2021 and working to close out the final phase of the project late next year. We appreciate all the efforts of our leasing team which includes Jake Heims of TTRG and Tyson Switzenberg & Tim Hurley of JLL.”
