Treasury Management Specialist

Job Description

Thompson Thrift is seeking to hire a Full-Time Treasury Management Specialist for the office in Terre Haute, IN. The Treasury Management Specialist will serve as the point of contact between the Company and outside banking institutions. In this role, the TM Specialist will be responsible for opening and closing bank accounts, reconciling accounts, deposits, and identifying new treasury tools or services. The role will also assist with online banking administration.

Responsibilities and duties: 

  • Work with financial institutions to open or close bank accounts.
  • Process cash receipts for all corporate entities as well as other miscellaneous receipts.
  • Prepare or assist in on liquidity reports, financial statements, annual tax returns, and covenant compliance certificates on a quarterly, annual, or as needed basis.
  • Initiate wire transfer or ACH transactions from various bank accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Capital Market teams on the capital call process.
  • Import daily Positive Pay files and resolve issues.
  • Reconcile bank accounts.


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of banking or bookkeeping experience required.
  • Knowledge of treasury management or bookkeeping.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of office practices and clerical/accounting procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Performing this job will sometimes require the employee to walk work sites that do not have infrastructure, this includes walking on uneven surfaces, through mud, through ruts, etc. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The noise in the construction work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is required to work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
