Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Thompson Thrift is seeking to hire a full-time Regional Maintenance Supervisor to work out of Denver, Colorado. In this position, you will be working closely with Community Management and our Director of Property Maintenance to manage facilities maintenance activities for assigned locations within a region. You will also work to ensure that the Company objectives are being achieved on all properties within an assigned division.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing maintenance responsibilities in a portfolio of properties.
  • Providing direction to Service Managers, Service Technicians, Community leaders.
  • Work closely with senior leadership within assigned division to develop action plans for maintenance operations.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the delivery of designated project management services, property maintenance and facility services within an assigned division
  • Ensure compliance regarding company programs, safety programs, OSHA, insurance and licensing programs, all regulatory programs and inspections for an assigned division.


Education/ Experience

  • High school diploma/ GED equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience with all disciplines of onsite maintenance.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Class A, luxury lease-up, or new construction experience


Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License in state of residency required.
  • Flexible schedule to include days/evenings/weekends/on-call emergencies required.
  • Minimum 7 years previous experience in all aspects of property maintenance operations, capital projects management, or property renovations operating within a multifamily environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, general ledgers, budgets, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and building plans.

  • Required HVAC
  • Required CPO (Pool Services)
  • Preferred Plumbing
  • Preferred Electrical


Travel Requirements

  • 75% travel required.


Annual Salary*: $95,000/year

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

Performing this job will sometimes require the employee to walk work sites that do not have infrastructure, this includes walking on uneven surfaces, through mud, through ruts, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires the use of hands to finer, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear (bells, whistles, etc.), stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and the risk of electrical shock.
