Project Manager - Multifamily Construction

The Opportunity:

Thomson Thrift is currently seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager to join our team. In this role, the Project Manager would be responsible for managing a multifamily construction project from start to finish, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project throughout the development and construction phases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and construction of the project from start to finish, managing a team of professionals including architectural, engineering and construction personnel
• Manage project budget, ensuring cost overruns don’t occur
• Track project milestones and ensure project stays on schedule
• Manage and review client/subcontractor contracts
• Conduct regular job site inspections, ensuring all construction complies with local building codes and regulatory standards

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of related experience in multifamily construction/management
• Superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of federal and state construction laws, regulations and industry practices
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with a diverse team
• Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities

Nice-to-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
• Previous experience working with senior-level management teams
• Current OSHA-30 Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
