Lease Administration Assistant

Job Description

Thompson Thrift is seeking to hire a Full-Time Lease Administration Assistant to work out of the Terre Haute, IN office. As the Lease Administration Assistant, will support the commercial property management department's administrative work. You will learn all aspects of the commercial leases, and will help to keep all data up to date in Yardi while helping streamline processes and workflows. 

You will support of the Sr. Lease Administrator and other team members within the department and help with the added responsibilities of 3rd party lease administration responsibilities. General responsibilities include maintaining commercial tenant insurance certificates, tenant sales, utility and tenant billings, preparation of vendor contracts and entering all commercial lease data in Yardi. 

In this role, you will cross train on various other tasks within the department including but not limited to a/r, a/p, and service management.


  • Prepares reports and presentation materials.
  • Assist in lease administration.
  • Upkeep of data and processes current in Yardi.
  • Cross train on all area / processes within the department.
  • Sales reporting and tenant insurance upkeep.
  • Utility billings and tenant billbacks.
  • Receives and responds to correspondence.
  • Schedules meetings, and performs other duties as assigned.

Education/ Experience

  • 2- year Associates Degree in Administration or Accounting preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in an administrative or accounting support role required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
  • Accounting/ administrative experience is a plus.
  • Comprehension of legal documents is a plus.
