Job Description

Thompson Thrift is seeking to hire a Full-Time Director of Recruiting to work out of either our Terre Haute, IN office or the Indianapolis, IN office. As the Director of Recruiting, you will be accountable for planning, developing, and directing recruitment processes and employment programs companywide. You will work closely with the Sr. Vice President of Talent and Engagement to understand current and future workforce needs and assess external labor market conditions in specific geographic areas throughout the country.  

In addition, you will develop the most effective, economical, and appropriate recruiting channels and methods while ensuring all recruiting activities are consistent with our mission and adhere with organization's policies and standards. 

You will also oversee our recruiting team and ensure our efforts yield quality team members in a time efficient manner. Additionally, you will oversee recruiting for our internship program and the Early Career Rotational Program to ensure we are targeting colleges and universities in a strategic and predictable manner.

Responsibilities 

  • Overview and strategy of Thompson Thrift internship program.
  • Ownership of an annual staffing plan.
  • Adherence to the annual recruiting plan for Thompson Thrift.
  • Monthly reporting on key recruiting metrics.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 5+ year experience in recruiting.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the recruiting function.
  • Previous experience leading a recruiting strategy for a company.
  • Solid knowledge of the HR function.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in recruiting in the real estate development industry.
  • SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP certifications.
  • Experience in campus recruiting/ building internship programs.
