Director of Investor Relations

Job Description

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Full-Time Director of Investor Relations to work out of the corporate office in Indianapolis, IN. The Director of Investor Relations will be responsible for the company’s long-term corporate growth by leading initiatives and processes that focus on delivering the highest level of service to the organization’s investment partners. The Director will be responsible for working with the Vice President, Capital Markets to optimize and execute investor management processes to add value for our investment partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieving excellence in all communications and relationships with Thompson Thrift Investment Partners.
  • Taking ownership of all required Investor Communications including recurring detailed reports as well as periodic announcements and communications.
  • Ensuring that investors are kept informed of all relevant information regarding their investments accurately in a timely manner.
  • Answering various investor requests for information.
  • Taking ownership of Investor Database and ensuring it is comprehensive and is being optimized for use.
  • Oversight of investor onboarding.
  • Evaluating and optimizing current investor relations processes.
  • Coordinating Investor Events.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, prior management experience preferred.
  • Previous Real Estate, Finance, Wealth Management or Investor Relations experience preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge with the concepts and principles of financial investments and real estate transactions
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively the status of real estate transactions and its impact to investors
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.

  • Interpersonal skills. Customer service skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with department management.
