Assistant Community Manager

Colorado Springs, CO  •  Full Time

Job Description

Upland Flats, located in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a full-time Assistant Community Manager for its newly constructed, luxury, Class A, 300 unit lease-up property. In this position, you will help to lead and manage daily tasks and coordinate to assist with reports, paperwork and moving in new residents, as well as rent collections. In the absence of the Property Manager, you may assist in management responsibilities. You will also play an integral role in helping to lead the lease-up and stabilization of the property.

Requirements:

  • Flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and on call emergency availability.

  • Sales, leasing, and marketing ability.

  • Must be able to tour the community, including climbing stairs on a regular basis.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Stress tolerance in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Training:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Some college preferred

  • Valid drivers license required

Experience/Skills:

  • Preferred 1 year experience on-site in leasing field.
  • Preferred 2 years' experience in property management or business management.

  • Preferred Class A or Luxury Lease Up experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Yardi experience preferred.

Annual Salary Range*: $24.00- $26.00/hour

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

Performing this job will sometimes require the employee to walk work sites that do not have infrastructure, this includes walking on uneven surfaces, through mud, through ruts, etc. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

While performing duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office or remote setting. The noise in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in an office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally work at construction work sites where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise in the construction work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is required to work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
