Jerry brings more than 30 years' experience as an executive in the construction industry to his position at Thompson Thrift. Prior to joining Thompson Thrift, he served as president of Howard Shockey & Sons in Winchester, Va., from 2008-2010 and worked for The Boldt Company in Oklahoma City from 1984-2008. At Boldt, Jerry eventually led the southern U.S. region as group president. Prior to that he served as vice president/general manager.

Jerry earned a B.S. degree in biology from Albright College in Reading, Pa. The Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma named him "Builder of the Year" in 2001. The Engineering News Record honored him as one of the "Top 25 Newsmakers of the Year" in 1995 and the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association presented him with its Award Of Merit for his contributions to stabilizing the Alfred P. Murrah Building in the aftermath of the terrorist bombing in 1995.
