As senior vice president of business development for Thompson Thrift Construction, Jose represents clients' initial point of contact with the company. In this role, Jose utilizes his national development experience and engineering expertise (as designer and county engineer) to assist clients with matters such as entitlements, financing and preconstruction support. He joined the company in 2009 and was named to his present position in 2011.
Jose began his career in 1988 as a civil engineer for an international consultant in Washington, D.C. He returned to Indiana in the mid-1990s and worked on commercial and residential projects. This led to his appointment as the development engineer for Hamilton County. From 1999 through 2009, Jose worked for a number of real estate development firms executing projects in Indiana, Kansas, Florida and California. He holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Purdue University.
